couple of nights back, after a hard day’s work, me and WyL; my good old buddy since childhood; went out to have an ice milo. Watching him ride the cyke made me laugh at first, but as time passed by I knew he was good at it.

We were talking crap, wandering around, looking at the chicks :p but somehow eventually we ended up talking about mind-boggling topics… Interpretation of dreams! Telepathy! Hypnotizing!!

We had a pretty long “debate” on each of them. I didn’t concur to what he said most of the time and neither did him to my views. Anyways, this led me to find more about those interesting “powers”! So I did a lil’ bit of Google-ing, and came up with interesting results…

WyL claimed that using telepathic powers, one could physically move objects from place to place without involving any physical contact. I found it hard to believe, in fact I didn’t believe, as he wasn’t talking about Prophets or anybody of that regard. This topic became very controversial later on, and I kept on asking him questions that were crossing in my mind.

I asked ...

“in a time like today when humans live in a technologically and educationally developed world, why don’t they fly airplanes using telepathic powers, why waste our efforts and resources like oil to burn them as fuel?"

"If they have super-abnormal knowledge of future events why cant they just inform others about it and save them from being victimized by natural disasters? Why couldn’t have they saved the hundreds of thousands of lives if they knew that the tsunami was on its way?"

"Why do we spend so much for communication, cant we just talk to our lovers through telepathy?"

Anyhow, this has built an interest in me towards finding answers to these questions… since then, every now and then I think about it. Why? Why? Why?

We spent hours challenging each other on our views before we headed back to our homes “sweet” homes…
